Angie Gallion grew up in East Central Illinois and now resides with her husband and their children outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Angie’s writings often deal with personal growth through tragedy or trauma. She enjoys exploring complex relationships, often set against the backdrop of addiction or mental illness.
Her debut novel, Intoxic, received the Bronze Medal from Readers’ Favorite in the General Fiction category in 2017. Intoxic was well received by audiences, and reader response inspired Gallion to continue the Alison Hayes Journey, a coming-of-age series: Intoxic, Purgus, Icara, and Emergent.
Purgus won first place in TopShelf Magazine’s 2018 Indie Awards competition in the New Adult 17+ category.
She released her first psychological thriller in 2018, Off the Dark Ledge, and plans on delving further into that genre with future books.
